Laboratory

Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority's (WVSA) laboratory is an essential part of the wastewater treatment process; collected analytical data provides important information relative to how the plant is performing and what if any changes need to be made. Wastewater analysis performed in the WVSA lab includes that which is used for process control, quality assurance, and testing required by our operating permit.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) established an accreditation program for environmental laboratories to ensure accuracy and precision of data generated by the lab. Our laboratory has been accredited by DEP since 2007.
