Stormwater Billing
Effective first quarter 2019, all property owners (residential, commercial, non-profits) residing in municipalities participating in the Regional Stormwater Management Program (RSMP) are charged a stormwater fee.
The fee is based on the amount of your property’s impervious surface (areas on which stormwater runoff occurs, e.g., rooftops, parking lots and driveways.) Advanced notices about the stormwater fee were mailed to residents in November 2018.

Public Outreach and Education
Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority's (WVSA) Stormwater Management Division is charged with raising public awareness about the importance of stormwater management and executing strategies that educate and engage the communities we serve. While we continue to emphasize the significance of Best Management Practices (BMPs) via our local press, public events, and municipal display materials, we also provide updates and guidance in our quarterly billing inserts as provided below.
